By combining this set with a few items from the local dollar or thrift store you will be set for a rustic back-to-nature experience. If you have the space in your luggage, an air mattress can add some much-needed sleeping comfort. A couple of camp chairs can be purchased at the local Wal-Mart for $10.00 each.
While the planning, camping rentals and extra shopping may sound like a lot of work, it will be worth it to wake up at or very near one of the national parks listed above.

In California, my dependable place for outdoor & camping rental gear is the chain store called SPORT CHALET. There are dozens of locations & they do not charge for the day you pick up or drop off.
