Camping in the Mild California Climate

With Thanksgiving around the corner, camping is on the mind of some people in California. The family and I will be heading out for our second annual Thanksgiving camping trip. Why camping for Thanksgiving? Well it’s a good break between the kids soccer and football games and with a multitude of climate ranges in California, there is always somewhere in the state where the weather is nice. This year some of the extended family is going up with us, so maybe we can start a new tradition.

Our next trip is to Mt. Madonna County Park. I will try to post up some pictures on the blog as we camp. This will be our third trip to Mt. Madonna in the last year. I also plan to scout out a few more campgrounds in the area for next summer’s travels. Everybody stay tuned and have a Happy Thanksgiving.
